I'm Brainy Josh — I start and back companies rather than working for one. My focus is on foundational infrastructure: the rails that move money, the tools that manage capital, and the platforms that let people build faster. Across every venture, the thesis is the same — find the layer everyone depends on but nobody wants to build, and build it well.
I split my time between operating the earliest-stage companies directly and advising the rest. If it's fintech, AI tooling, or developer infrastructure, there's a good chance I'm already in it.
